In Scotland, restrictions are being eased not abandoned from 19 July 2021.
- 1m distancing is required both in and outdoors, 15 people from 15 households can meet outdoors, and 10 from 4 households indoors with 1m social distancing – under 12s do not count towards totals.
- Registration of death will continue online
- Wearing of masks is still recommended
- Up to 200 people can attend a funeral but venue capacity to accommodate 1m distancing will dictate the final number
- Isolation and test restrictions still apply to travellers from red and amber countries
In England the impact of changes on 19 July include:
- No social distancing restrictions apply indoors or outside and masks are no longer mandatory but are recommended
- Registration of death will continue online
- There is no cap to funeral numbers
- Isolation and test restrictions may still apply to travellers from red and amber countries
We will continue to keep families up to date with developments as they change.
